The bit hangs correctly in the horse’s mouth given the extra weight. It also allows for immediate release from the tongue and bar pressure when relaxing the rein in hand.

The copper roller in the centre provides centralised and immediate tongue pressure and we found it to be a good collection and training aid. Particularly when used in 10 and 12mm diameter thick bits.
